Tata Harper Hydrating Floral Essence Review

I’ve been using Tata Harper’s Hydrating Floral Essence for a good couple of months now, perhaps even longer. It’s my essential “moisturising” spritz step as part of my skin care routine (which I’ll go in to shortly).

I was first attracted to the Hydrating Floral Essence after hearing Caroline Hirons rave about this product. It’s completely oil free, uses a base of aloe vera and contains a good boost of Hyaluronic Acid for the skin. A fantastic skincare ingredient for plumping up and keeping the skin hydrated. Amongst these ingredients, you’ll also find Vitamin C, great for it’s brightening and protection against antioxidants as well as Witch Hazel. I love that Witch Hazel is included here, making this so much more than a moisturising spritz but also one that calms redness and any irritations on the skin. I can’t talk about ingredients and not explicitly mention that this spritz contains absolutely zero chemicals, it’s made from all natural ingredients to help balance your skin without the use of any nasties.

The spritz itself is really lightweight and sinks in to my skin within seconds. It’s lightweight enough (water-like consistency) for those with oily skin but still needing moisture and ingredients to calm any blemishes, as well as hydrating and soothing enough for those with dry or dehydrated skin. A winner for everyone.

The packaging is in a clear, green, glass bottle. When I think glass bottle I think of my Omorovicza QofHM but this bottle, despite being glass, is not as heavy as the Omorovicza and is suitable to carry around with you (I’d say in flight essential too).

I use this product as my “hydrating spray toner” and this could be either evening or morning, I’d say it works well for both. After cleansing my skin and after I’ve used any acid toners (in the evening) I’d then go in with about 3-4 sprays of Tata Harper Hydrating Floral Essence (this is when my diva motion comes out and I often go a bit mad with the sprays). After spritzing I’d follow up with a serum of choice, before finishing with a moisturiser. If I’m using a mask, sometimes I’ll use this before I mask AND after a mask. It’s not totally necessary but just if I have time.

This is the first product I own from Tata Harper and I absolutely adore it’s results, benefits and zero chemical philosophy. I really would love to try the Regenerating Cleanser, Purifying Cleanser and the Nourishing Oil Cleanser too. Have you tried anything from the range or what would you like to try?

Love, Anisha xox
