Light Wonder Foundation
If you read my Charlotte Tilbury haul when I was in London and on a crazy beauty shopping mission (catch up here), you’ll know that I picked up Charlotte’s foundation, Light Wonder.
Light Wonder is said to be “illimunating, smoothing and hydrating”. If you don’t like dewy foundations, look away now. This is a sheer, airy and light foundation for dewy looking, natural but perfected skin. It can be layered, so for those that like a dewy but more coverage look, you could build this up for more coverage or to hide any imperfections.
There are also a bunch of skincare ingredients involved. I love when make up does this. It’s said to also include youth perfecting actives that work to keep your skin hydrated as wll as ingredients to kick startcollagen production. Addtionally, Light Wonder also contains SPF 15. This is quite a low factor SPF (I’d always recommend at least a factor of 30 for day to day wear), so I would still recommend to wear an SPF underneath this, unless your planning to not be exposed to sunlight.
Cover’s up blemishes & stays dewy
Similar to a foundation like MAC’s Face & Body, this would also work well at covering up any imperfections or light marks (not crazy dark tattoos) over other areas of the body. I’ve not tried this myself on tattoos but can see that it could work. You could also try this out on the face whilst using Charlotte’s primer in Wonderglow, set to be a winning combination.
The colours are available in Fair, Medium and Dark. I picked up the shade 08 in Medium and the colour is a perfect match. I’ve also picked up Charlotte Tilbury’s Air Brush Flawless Finish powder and have been using this on top of the Light Wonder. What I really like about the powder is that it doesn’t leave the skin looking like it’s been powdered, absolutely no cakiness. Instead you’re left with the same illuminous glow that comes from such a dewy, natural foundation, another great combination. Light Wonder in the UK retails for around £32, unfortunately it’s not available here in Dubai girls! I’m hoping Charlotte will launch in the UAE one day!
Charlotte, you can do no wrong!
