Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder Review

I’ve had a couple of big splurges on Charlotte Tilbury products, basically every time I go back to London! I just can’t resist. On one of my last trips I picked up the Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder as well as a foundation and the Filmstar Bronze & Glow (check that haul out here). I’ve been using the powder for a while now and wanted to shout about it, it’s a great powder that feels luxurious upon application and has a really “smoothing” effect on the skin which makes it look like you’re not wearing any powder at all.

Packaging:

I’ve got to admit, there are so many reasons to buy Charlotte’s products but packaging is such a big plus for me and the Flawless Finish powder doesn’t fail. The Airbrush Flawless Finish Skin Perfecting Micro-Powder is in an oval casing complete with a mirror, ideal for on the go touch ups, I really like the traditional style oval packaging. The whole casing is in rose gold *swoon* and feels very high end, not too weighty but still high end. Once opened the inside is also engraved with Charlotte’s name and her iconic star symbol. So classy, sleek and beautiful.

Shades & Ingredients:

The Airbrush Flawless Finish Skin Perfecting Micro-Powder is available in 3 shades; Light, Medium and Dark. It’s a luxuriously formulated powder that contains a blend of rose wax & almond oil (both for hydration), soft focus nano particles (for that smoothing, blurring veil look) as well as other skin nourishing actives and light perfecting particles for a luminous complexion. How beautiful does that ingredients list sound?! I have the shade dark which, for me & my medium olive skin, actually works quite well. One of Charlotte’s make up artists in Selfridges tried this on me (on top of  Light Wonder foundation) and it actually works for me really well. I would have probably gone for the Medium shade otherwise, but the dark is fine. That also makes me think that if you usually go for dark shades (which I don’t) then this possibly may not be dark enough for you.

Application & Benefits:

Unlike traditional powders that I’d usually use sparingly and just a dab in key places (i.e. where I find I need the added protection if any base moves or my skin becomes oily – so under my eyes and my t-zone), you can get away with using dustings of the Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder anywhere on the face and not be worried about that dreaded powdery, cakey make up look, part of the reason you have to be so careful with using powders in the first place! Thats where the light perfecting particles and hydrating ingredients come in to play, to allow you to use the product easily, whilst actually benefiting the skin whilst making it look radiant. Winner.

Price & Availability:

The Airbrush Flawless Finish Skin Perfecting Micro-Powder currently retails for £33 pounds in the UK. They can be found in most high end department stores and online. Charlotte also recently opened her first store in Covent Garden, London. This is definitely on my list for when I’m back in the London! Unfortunately CT’s products aren’t available to purchase directly in the UAE yet.

I absolutely adore this product, it feels, wears and looks so luxurious and vintage. A staple in my make up bag!

Love, Anisha xox
