When I saw how beautiful Chanel’s Sunkiss Ribbon Harmonie de Blush was, I couldn’t resist buying it for myself. Chanel released Sunkiss Ribbon Harmonie de Blush as part of their LA Sunrise collection for Spring 2016, in the UK it was available in stores right at the end of January and totally sucked me in. I’ve never wanted a blusher so much before.
Sunkiss Ribbon Harmonie de Blush is a blend of 5 beautiful pinks and orange shades that come together to create a beautiful coral hue. Each of the colours come in different sizes within the pan, most noticeably the baby pink swipes right the way across whilst the brightest orange and hot pink take corner spaces. The colour range is aimed at brightening the complexion, it’s the perfect spring release although the blush seems easy to wear all year round. You could however choose how the blush looks on you based on using more of the top half of the pan to create a deeper orange/coral look, or the bottom half for more of a darker pink look, the colours in the pan are really wearable and for me, the overall colour achieved from a circular swipe of all shades is just perfect as a flush of coral on the cheeks.
The application is beautiful, soft and blendable, it feels like just what you would expect from a Chanel blusher without feeling too ‘powdery’ on the skin.
This is an expensive but luxurious blusher, it retails for $70 / £44. However, you do get a really generous amount of product at 0.38oz, so if you’re someone that makes good use of your blushers, this is comparatively a good amount for a good price for Chanel as a brand. One last point to mention is the scent. Like all Chanel powders this does have a strong scent, I’d say almost similar to the Chanel No.5 fragrance. I could smell it before unboxing the blusher! This isn’t something I mind as I quite like the scent and my skin’s not irritated by it.
What do you think, gorgeous right?
