I recently discovered BabyBlooms, a website dedicated to beautiful, unique gifts for babies, mums and mums to be. Their gift selections are thoughtful and original, there’s something for everyone – literally. I’ve been browsing through the website and came across a variety of products ranging from keepsakes, toys, books, jewellery, balloons and more. There’s gender specific products or unisex products, ideal if you’re going to a baby shower or gifting a newborn baby.
I was recently gifted a new mum & baby gift set after giving birth to Baby A only a few months ago (you can read all the pregnancy and baby updates here), a beautiful collection of luxury pamper products (because us new mums are most deserving of a good treat let’s be fair!). The gift set contained a Soothing Body Lotion, Replenishing Hand Cream, Face Cream, a Lip treatment and a Baby Care Cream, all stunningly packaged in a beautiful gift box laced with ribbon and potpourri.
Admittedly, it actually took me a while to start using the products. You know when you have a case of “the packaging is too beautiful to use”, that’s what happened! All the products not only look gorgeous but also smell absolutely divine, a carefully thought out blend of essential oils that leave you feeling totally pampered and relaxed, just what every new mum needs. I love how each of the products have their own unique, spa-like scent, I feel it adds to the luxuriousness, especially for us mums.
My favourite of the lot so far has to be the Replenishing Hand Cream, it contains a refreshing and soothing blend of lemongrass, jojoba and beeswax. I keep my bottle in the bathroom as I’m constantly washing my hands all day with the little one so it’s nice to keep my hands soft and moisturised in between. There’s also a Gentle Hand Wash, I’d love to try that next time too.
The Baby Care cream is another great product, it’s natural and soothing with ingredients designed to calm and moisturise baby’s delicate skin such as calendula, lavender, wheatgerm and honey. It’s fair to say this also smells amazing. Luckily my Little One doesn’t suffer with nappy rash, but given the calendula, this may also help to sooth nappy rash too.
What looks totally amazing though are the baby clothes bouquets and hamper. I had a few nappy cakes given to me at my baby shower but not as beautiful as these nappy clothes bouquets 😉 (Baby Blooms also do nappy cakes). A few of my girlfriends are expecting little ones soon and this looks perfect to give to them, a great alternative to a bunch of flowers.
If you’re looking to treat yourself, your little one or expecting parents, go check out the website. You can find a link to the baby bouquets right here. There’s currently new summer bouquets on the site and they look lovely! I’ve just spotted the personalised bibs too! The list is getting longer!
